Jacopo Staiano Researcher
Jacopo Staiano received his PhD from University of Trento (Italy) in 2014.
He holds a Computer Engineering degree from University of Pisa (Italy), a MA in Sonic Arts from the Sonic Arts Research Centre, Queen's University of Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK), and a MSc in Human Language Technologies and Interfaces from University of Trento (Italy).
In 2008 he joined the Intelligent Systems Lab of the University of Amsterdam, where he worked on several computer vision and affective computing projects. He visited the Ambient Intelligence Research Lab, Stanford University (Prof. Hamid Aghajan, May-July 2010), the Human Dynamics Lab, MIT Media Lab (Prof. Alex Pentland, October 2011 and August-September 2013), and Telefonica I+D (P.I. Nuria Oliver, November 2013-February 2014).
His latest research efforts focused on mobile computing and economics of personal data.

Marco Guerini's research field is ICT, specifically Natural Language Processing in Sentiment Analysis, Persuasive Communication, Social Media. He received his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies in March 2006 from the University of Trento. He is author of several scientific publications, published in top-level conference proceedings and international journals. His research work includes the participation in many EU funded projects and program committee membership at international conferences.
Currently, he is working as a researcher at Trento RISE, the Italian Node of European Institute of Technology. In 2011, his activities were partially funded by a Google Research Award. In addition, since 2008 he has been working also as a web communication consultant, focusing on Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Advertising.
